Mandate of the Council of Elders
To facilitate his work, Togbi Tagbor III has constituted a council of elders. The council’s mandate includes assisting Togbi to
- Exercise leadership as the head of the Tagbor and Allied Families and maintain order and peace
- Uphold and promote progressive family traditions and ceremonies
- Seek and promote the welfare of family members
- Maintain cordial and mutually beneficial relationships with chiefs and significant others in the Anlo Kingdom
- Lead efforts to to economically empower all family members
