
Since the coronation of Togbi Tagbor III, the Stool has been involved in several initiatives in the following areas:
Enhancing Education
- Togbi Tagbor III was appointed as Chair of the Board, Kedzi Technical Institute;
- Initiated efforts to establish a partnership between Kedzi Technical Institute and Ho Technical University;
- Actively soliciting resources to improve infrastructure, teaching, and learning at the institute.
Healthcare Initiatives
- Established a collaboration with the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) Medical School in 2024;
- Facilitated a community-based initiative where medical students live within the community, assess health needs, and provide reports to improve healthcare services.
External Relations
- The chief has established strong diplomatic ties with other traditional leaders within the Anlo Kingdom, fostering unity and collaboration for regional development.
Economic Empowerment
Togbi has set up the Tagbor and Allied Families Fund as part of efforts to economically empower all family members. To ensure good governance, transparency and accountability, a five-member Board of Directors has been established. Members of the board, working as a team, are expected to bring on board their individual expertise, experience, knowledge and wisdom to:
- Develop appropriate policies to administer and manage the Fund
- Operationalise the objectives of the Fund
- Minimise the risk associated with funds of this nature and maximise returns for investors
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Appropriately and promptly communicate and report to the Council of Elders and family members
