Agbotadua Gakpleazi was born to Mr. John Kwaku Gakpleazi and Madam Aku Lawetey, both of Tegbi in the Volta Region. He is the owner and operator of two thriving herbal and over-the-counter medicine shops in Agavedzi and Blekusu respectively. This has been his main occupation since he completed Nkwanta Secondary School in 1987. He acquired his knowledge and skills over many years through his association with Dr. Gbekle in Dambai and Viva Clinic in Tema New Town. His dedication and passion for his work have endeared him to his clients in major towns along the Keta coastline, who affectionately call him “Doctor”. He is married to Georgina Fianu, and has eight children.
